CILS' Central Office/Oakland Field Office Moves to a New Location The Central Office/Oakland Field Office of California Indian Legal Services will be moving on Saturday, August 12, 2006. The new address of our Oakland office is: California Indian Legal Services The Oakland office will be closed on Friday, August 11th. We may be contacted at our usual phone numbers after Monday, August 14th. Please note that we will be closed for new client intake from Wednesday, August 9th through Wednesday, August 16th. During this time, if you have a legal issue and need immediate attention, we recommend that you contact your nearest Legal Aid office by looking in the phone book or by searching online at www.lawhelpcalifornia.org. If you need a private attorney, we recommend that you contact the State Bar at 1 (866) 442-2529 for your local lawyer referral services number. If you have a legal issue that can wait until after August 16th, you may contact us after that time so that we can assess your legal needs.
