If you live and work on a reservation that is NOT your own, please read this!  If you have bought a vehicle and had it delivered to a reservation that was not your own, please keep reading...  Time is running out to take advantage of the California Tax Amnesty Program!  March 31, 2005 is the deadline for those taxpayers who have not paid state income tax or
use taxes.  Remember: if you live and work on a reservation where you are not a member, you may be subject to California taxes.  The Franchise Tax Board, the government agency that collects state taxes, is offering a grace period for those who owe but have not paid taxes before January 1, 2003.
