As CILS' scope of resources provided to California Tribes and Native Americans has expanded, methods of financing our work have also diversified, and our budget has significantly increased. Originally receiving all funding from the Office of Economic Opportunity, today we maintain a variety of funding sources, including fee-for-service activities, Legal Services Corporation and State Bar funding, tribal and individual donations, and government and foundation grants.
